ABOUT US
The Dragon Boat Club “Dniester”, founded in 2022 in Tiraspol, Moldova, is a dynamic community driven by a passion for health, and the excitement of dragon boat rowing. Originating from the NGO “Association of Health and Sports,” with 15+ years of promoting healthy lifestyles, we unite enthusiasts aged 40 to 85.
At the heart of our club is a mission to inspire through action. We harness the energy of dragon boat rowing to empower women, promote fitness, and bridge divides between communities.
We showcase the transformative power of sports to foster peace, connection, and positive change.
The Dragon Boat Club “Dniester” is proud to take top places in local competitions, showing our dedication and love for the sport. Our victories highlight the strength and teamwork of our club and inspire more people in the region to get involved in dragon boat rowing.
In 2024, we proudly competed at the 5th International Dragon Boat Festival in Barcelona, Spain, alongside world-class teams.
In 2023, we made our international debut at the Dragonboat Euro Cup in Ravenna, Italy, showcasing the power of sports to unite communities and represent the spirit of Moldova on a global stage.
